This is a collection of six lectures delivered in America in 1920-21 on such varied subjects as the nature of art, scientific facts and the creative personality, the extra-natural world around us, the philosophy of Tagore's model school, meditation and women. In all these Tagore is propounding, before a Western audience, the essence of Indian thoughts and attitudes on these subjects.
