Andrea and Sara Forman were born to American Catholic parents. At age nine, Andrea, the elder, borrowed her mothers Vedic texts, written in Sanskrit, and began reading and, to the amazement of all, comprehending them. Sanskrit scholars verified a 95 percent accuracy rate in Andreas Sanskrit. Soon her younger sister also evinced a startling knowledge of the language.
